I don't do too much poking..not quite sure what the point is (I am open to educated on this one)...but it's been fun commenting on pictures..I have joined so many fun groups and the best of all, we now have a facebook group for Continental Bride Magazine lovers. If you are on facebook please join us at:http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=22070346992

Once you join you'll be able to see some Continental Bride Magazine images and of course talk weddings..If you are not on facebook...join now if you dare..but be warned - it's so addictive..!!!

We're currently working on Continental Bride Magazine features for future editions so if there is anything you'll especially love to see or read about now is the time to let us know and we'll do the leg work for you...Go on..let's talk weddings...!!!

My 2007 wedding highlight..

OK, if I said I was born to party that would be a bit blasphemous wouldn't it? but I know God must have put something in me that makes me a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to parties. I am the kind of guest that notices all the detail and party effects..like the table settings, the colour co-ordination, party themes etc .

If I needed divine confirmation of this gift, it came when I received a phone call from a highly respected man of God to help him plan his july wedding in 2007.
Oh my God - This wasn't just a random call - this was a call from a man I truly respect - so after I snapped out of the shock - We got down to business..

on the guest list were Men of God like Creflo Dollar, Pastor Wale Oke, Reverend Wayne Lewis to name a few high profile MInisters and the total number of guests expected - 1500 adults and 300 children.
Ok if you live in the UK, you know that finding a venue to legally hold 1500 guests and a workforce of over 300 people is a tall order...

The solution - A seriously huge but exquisitely decorated marquee - befitting royalty and a tropical fiesta for the kids...
It was a truly fabulous day and it still remains one of my highlights of 2007 . It'll take a day and a half to tell you all about the wedding but as I need to spend the rest of the day with family..I'll leave you with a few pictures...
Enjoy...

This was the kid's tropical fiesta setting arranged
by yours truly with help from our in-house
Architect and ballonist (Yep, a real Architect).

Continental Bride Magazine 2008

It's the 1st of Jan 2008 - The only song that springs to mind is "Amazing Grace"...indeed it is God's Grace that has individually and collectively brought us thus far and I am especially excited about 2008 not only for the hopes and dreams that accompany each new year but for the re-launch of Continental Bride Magazine.

Not only is Continental Bride being launched in the UK, I am proud to announce that we are working towards the launch of an authentic Nigerian wedding planning magazine.

I am not sure what it is about weddings that still gets me so excited, maybe it's the pump and peagentry or maybe it's just the sheer thought of two people promising to love one another forever and a day- I've always been an old fashioned romantic or maybe it's what I was born to do and if that be my mission, Continental Bride Magazine is the vision.

Here I intend to share as my take on weddings, great wedding ideas and I of course life... Don't forget to keep abreast of Continental Bride Magazine News by visiting: http://www.continentalbride.com/
